What is Lea?
Lea is a count used for linen yarn. Higher Lea means a finer, usually lighter cloth. Lower Lea feels thicker and more rustic.
Stitched shirts and kurtas already have the cloth chosen. On those products pick colour and size, not Lea.
Common Lea range
| Lea | Feel | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 25–35 | Thick, strong | Jackets, utility, winter layer |
| 40–50 | Balanced | Shirts, kurtas, everyday wear |
| 55–70 | Fine, lighter | Summer shirts, dress fabric |
| 80+ | Very fine | Premium dress / special use |
How to choose
For most shirts start around 40–50 Lea. For a heavier look choose lower Lea. For a dressier summer cloth choose higher Lea.
